Program

From the Beatles’ song And I Love Her to Faure’s Requiem. Join us for a concert that showcases our chorus, Legal Voices, and its soloists. Choral Director Christopher D. Haygood will lead the “legal” singers in a moving and exciting concert that features a wide spectrum of works. The audience will be dazzled by “Lida Rose“ from The Music Man along with Let Me Fly. And they will be awed by soloists from the chorus who will be singing songs that range from classical to jazz. VIEW A CONCERT FLYER.

$15 for adults; $10 for students and seniors (65+). You may PURCHASE TICKETS by credit card. Or, you may purchase tickets by sending a check or money order made payable to Wilshire United Methodist Church or WUMC, together with a self-addressed stamped envelope, to P.O. Program

The Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic, the Jr. Philharmonic Orchestra, Legal Voices and the Big Band of Barristers come together for an epic concert. This extravaganza will take you on a journey to Jupiter and Mars from Holst’s The Planets, with a special introduction by Lost in Space star June Lockhart. Tony award-winner and TV actor Hal Linden will be featured in The Music Man medley. You will enjoy the unforgettable melodies including Wells Fargo Wagon, Till There Was You, Lida Rose, Trouble In River City and 76 Trombones. Legal Voices and both orchestras will join forces for the triumphant Finlandia and the patriotic America the Beautiful, arranged by Carmen Dragon. You’ll be inspired with Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony and energized by the Toreador Song. And you’re in for a real treat: Two songs from the new musical, FELONS!: World Without Lawyers and That’s What Lawyers Do (Luis Aragon, composer; Douglas Foxworthy, lyricist; Cavit Celayir-Monezis, arranger) under the sponsorship of the law firm, Fish and Richardson P.C. Maestro Greene’s newest musical group, his Big Band of Barristers, will perform favorites from the swing era. It’s an exciting concert not to be missed! VIEW A CONCERT FLYER.
